I know that many people who are not familiar with website design may have a hard time wrapping their mind around this concept that I mentioned in an earlier post, but it truly is the best solution for clients in the long run. This post by Rich Brooks echoes my sentiments and compares WordPress to Contribute, which is a program that is used to update websites developed in Dreamweaver.

You can get a custom WordPress Theme designed and installed for you for a fraction of the cost of a traditional website and be able to update it yourself down the road. Search for “custom WordPress theme design” and see what you can find. You can even go over to 99Designs and hold a contest for your new WordPress theme. 

There are also themes, such as the Thesis Theme, that can be purchased for less than $100 and  modified very easily with a custom banner and background to give your website its own unique look. Check out these awesome designs:

So if you don’t have a website and need one. Think outside the box and look into downloading WordPress (for free) on your hosting server and getting a custom theme designed.
